As an addendum to my interview with the former FSB spy, I dug up some interesting Soviet “cloak and dagger” propaganda posters from the Great Patriotic War: 8z_thumb.jpg “DON’T BLAB! Strictly maintain a military and industrial secret!” whisper.jpg “Blabbing is helping the enemy! (it rhymes in Russian).”

“DON’T BLAB! … Be on your toes, … In days like this … The walls have ears. … It’s not far from blabbing … and gossiping … TO TREASON.” (rhymes in Russian, naturally)
