This is a pretty incisive commentary on the nature of political action these days. Huge numbers of people sit at home on election day, and this blog sets a record for comment traffic on a post about people taking their shirts off.Meanwhile, Russia goes on perishing.Sigh.
If it makes you feel better, I campaigned all weekend and voted today.Not being a Russian citizen, my political action on that front is limited. But I am of the opinion that they are capable of fixing their own country. And I would not expect them to fix mine. YMMV.Also, I read RA daily for the serious stuff too, so don’t think I only pay attention when James sexes it up. It’s simply a nice distraction.
