This video has been making its way around the internet over the past few days. It shows the opening of a Moscow retailer which had advertised discounts of 80% on laptops, but only had ten of them to sell. The Russian shoppers show a particularly Western zeal for a good deal (though I don’t see any security guard getting trampled to death like in the U.S.). At least they weren’t all rushing in to buy the new Stalin cell phone.
