Although I believe this is a few weeks old, I just came across this video of Edward Lucas speaking at the Oslo Freedom Forum, providing an introduction for the dissident Vladimir Bukovsky. After the jump, there are the three separate videos of Bukovsky’s speech. The former Soviet political prisoner makes a number of interesting observations comparing the contemporary environment for freedom and rights with the conditions which landed him in jail at various points throughout the 60s and 70s.

I’m glad he addressed the soft fascism of EU socialism where individual rights are being diminished by the rule by un-elected bureaucrats in Brussels.Too bad so few in the west and especially here in the US are paying attention to this.
