Henry Kissinger tells CNN that Vladimir Putin is not necessarily anti-Western, but rather a Russian patriot who feels humiliated by the 1990s. Not sure I can find the link right now, but didn’t Russia or a Russia front hire Kissinger associates way back when?

Mr Kissinger described Putin as a patriot who laments a lost decade. HK might as well have been talking about Adolf Hitler, another patriot whose own lost decade was the 1920s. This is an appallingly positive assessment of Putin, and 89 year old Kissinger ought to be ashamed of himself for continuing his tacit support of the Russian dictator.
