Poland or Baltic states. 3) There must still be some kind of aura surrounding EU. I cannot recall one single Eastern European country which would have changed her priorities from EU to Putin's Eurasian Union. Not even close to, not even Ukraine. 1) There were plenty of people who were actually saying already in 2002 that Russia is becoming significantly more authoritarian under Putin.
