Amsterdam serves as international counsel to the former President of Zambia Rupiah Banda, and his son, Henry Banda. The Banda family has come under a sustained attack of false allegations and widely inconsistent and changing accusations by the new government of Zambia, which is seeking to eliminate political competition and return the country to a one-party state.
