It seems that with the major Economist feature this week detailing the pernicious rise of the FSB-dominated Kremlin, everybody is talking about “spymania” in Russia – what it means to have policy, economy, society and even culture in the tight grip of an extremely paranoid spook mentality. In light of these urgent concerns, it is good to see that not everyone has lost their sense of humor – for example the Reuters photographer that lined up this shot of Vladimir Putin from the big military air show:
