Russia’s Irkut is one of the three airlines currently in talks with Ryanair over manufacturing.  The Finance Ministry is reviewing plans to begin taxing ‘golden parachutes (severance packages) for senior managers next year.  Taxes are also in the pipelines for GPS-equipped tablets, and export quotas on unprocessed timber are to be introduced once Russia is accepted into the WTO.  Gazprom has its eye on Germany energy/telecoms company Envacom.  Russia’s deposits are the world’s third-largest, but will take time to be developed, says this Reuters analysis.  Serbia and Russia have signed new maritime and air traffic accords.
