Lukoil will boost its investments in Iraq’s West Qurna-2 oil field this year to $2 billion, and is planning a €15.5 million investment into Arkhangelsk – a challenge to the dominance of Rosneft.  Poland’s Chief National Geologist says that Polish shale gas deposits may be ‘significantly’ less than previously estimated.  Exxon Mobil is calling for the adoption of a systematic hydraulic fracturing fluid disclosure program in Europe.
