Reuters suggests that for all of its tough rhetoric, Iran’s apparent breakthrough on fuel rod development does not signify that it is closer to creating atomic bombs.  According to the Telegraph, oil major BP’s $20 billion compensation fund for those affected by the Gulf of Mexico spill has been frozen, as the result of a court order that all claimants must shoulder the cost of the legal team leading the action over the disaster, regardless of whether they pursued their claim through the courts.  Top German soccer team Bayern Munich has reportedly confirmed it is in talks with energy giant Gazprom on a possible sponsorship deal.
