Poland’s PGNiG and Russia’s Gazprom have finally come to an agreement on gas supplies through to 2037.  North Korea has signaled that it is ready to end its year-long boycott of nuclear negotiations with the U.S., Russia, China, Japan, and South Korea.  On the melting of Siberia’s permafrost and the havoc it is causing in Yakutsk (video).  A consortium of Shell and Malaysia’s Petronas have won the contract to develop Iraq’s ‘supergiant‘ Majnoon oilfield.  The FT has compiled a chart of salaries at the top levels of oil and gas companies.  The Economist writes on the US military’s search for clean technology.
