One of three shareholders at shadowy intermediary company’ RosUkrEnergo wants Russia, Ukraine and Europe to set up an equally-owned venture to guarantee gas supplies.  Sibir Energy was forced to drop plans to bail out one of its largest investors in ‘a rare victory for shareholder democracy’.  The world’s first floating storage and regasification vessel (FSRU), developed by Golar, has been delivered to Petrobras.  Iraq is in desperate need of oil investment, but investors are staying away due to security and infrastructure issues.
