The Moscow city government has denied that Zorlu Enerji Elektrik Uretim has completed a gas-fired power plant before its deadline as the Turkish energy producer claimed.  Why is shipping company Sovkomflot ploughing through the Arctic to transport oil to China? asks the Moscow Times.  Fuel shipments to Singapore may increase by up to 10% next month as prices rise in Asia.   Russian investor Dmitry Bosov’s holding company Alltech is looking for collaborators in a $3.9 million Arctic LNG project.  Sistema owner Vladimir Yevtushenkov is looking to firm up his grip on the energy market with a set of new acquisitions.  Apparently French major Total is planning to buy more oil and gas assets across the globe as opposed to purchasing an energy company.  Get the lowdown on the Nabucco pipeline with this video interview with the project’s managing director, Reinhard Mitschek.  Mitschek is apparently confident that Nabucco will receive the gas supply deals that it needs.
