Russia says that its current gas agreement with Belarus is sound, and does not need to be revised, and Ukraine’s Naftogaz says it has fully paid for its September gas deliveries from Russia.  A new report from the US’ National Oil Spill Commission accuses the Obama administration of withholding information from the public on the extent of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.  BP has signed a 30 year deal to develop the huge Shafaq-Asiman natural gas field in Azerbaijan.  Lukoil is confident that its offshore oil explorations in Ghana will almost certainly come to fruition.
