French company Renault is apparently poised to take over automaker AvtoVAZ, which has recently cancelled the production of its Soviet-era Lada Classic, prompting a wave of nostalgia.  Nearly 18 months after ceasing operations in the Central Asian state, Russian cellular operator MTS is apparently contemplating resuming its business in Turkmenistan.  Reuters reports that Russia apparently hopes to bolster its presence on Kazakhstan’s arms market during the Kadex-2012 defense exhibition.   Plans to merge Moscow’s three airports are said to be back on the cards after a Transportation Ministry working group drafted a document stressing its benefits.   Russia has launched a tender for long-awaited licences on 4G network services.
