Russia says it will submit requested information to the WTO by the end of the year, clearing the way for a decision to be made on how a membership bid will proceed. ‘Russian Orthodox Patriarch Kirill announced this week that after carefully weighing all potential candidates he has selected St. Iosef of Volotsk as the patron saint of entrepreneurs.‘  China is set to impose provisional duties on some U.S. and Russian imports after anti-dumping and subsidy investigations, part of a trade dispute that started in September, reports the New York Times. Russia’s 2009 deficit may reach as much as 7% of gross domestic product.  Sberbank will purchase Belarus’ fourth-largest bank, a deal authorized by President Alexander Lukashenko during yesterday’s meeting with Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow.
