A group of hackers known as the Russian Business Network are under investigation by the FBI, accused of stealing tens of millions of dollars from US banks.  Silver producer Polymetal will receive a $100 million loan from Raiffeisenbank on ‘highly favorable terms‘ to help with debt restructuring.  Russia has signed a contract to deliver 20 MiG-29 fighter planes to Myanmar, worth nearly €400 million.  MFK bank has three new oligarch shareholders ‘that will chase distressed banks and firms‘ and create ‘an unusual joint war chest for some of Russia’s most aggressive portfolio investors‘.  Crisis management funds will be significantly reduced next year, says Igor Shuvalov.  A poll of Reuters strategists indicates that Russian stocks will extend their rally into 2010 on the back of high commodities prices.  Washington says Russia’s concerns about US meat products are ‘unwarranted and go far beyond international scientific standards used by members of the World Trade Organization.‘
