The Russian edition of Forbes magazine has won a lawsuit against a ‘cybersquatter‘ for use of the domain name Forbes.ru.  A senior investigator in the Investigative Committee was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of soliciting a $15 million bribe from the head of Rosenergomash.  The creator of the MySQL database believes Russia or China could do a better job evaluating Oracle’s planned takeover of Sun Microsystems than the European Commission.  Reports suggest that French insurer Axa plans to buy a ‘significant‘ stake in Russia’s RusAl.  Oleg Deripaska’s Ingosstrakh will buy half of Bank Soyuz, the failed lender that Deripaska formerly owned.  Russia and India look set to sign another major arms deal – $1.2 billion for 29 fighter jets, says this report.
