A roundtable on Russian corporate governance last week suggested that it had not been negatively affected by the recession, despite damaged credit ratings.  Leonid Komarovsky in the Moscow Times today accuses Ashot Yegiazaryan of ascribing to the ‘anti-Semitic and xenophobic agenda‘ of the Liberal Democrat Party, and accuses the businessman of ‘using his wealth to concoct a political case to avoid responsibility for his less-than-clean business dealings‘.  In what German Gref hailed as a ‘symbolic event for the Russian financial market,Sberbank has purchased Troika Dialog for $1 billion.
