First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said the government would support a proposed deal between billionaires Vladimir Potanin and Alisher Usmanov aimed at creating a global mining giant. Russia is stepping up efforts to stop the illegal trade in wild sturgeon caviar.
