According to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Russia’s failure to deliver its S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems to Tehran as promised can be blamed on the influence of Satan; he threatened to chase Russia for ‘compensation and penalties‘.  Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is anxious that Russia protect its weapons trade from ‘unscrupulous competitors‘ and boost its share of the world arms market.  The first Sukhoi Superjet 100, designed for Armenia’s Armavia airlines, has completed its maiden flight.  Miner and gold producer Petropavlovsk has lowered its gold output forecasts for the year due to ‘extremely harsh weather‘.
