Video: Can Russia Hang with the BRICs?

Although I can’t embed the video here, I recommend jumping over to the Business News Network to watch this interview with Rachel Ziembra, a senior analyst with Nouriuel Roubini’s group, talking about whether or not Russia can hang on to its status among the BRIC economies.

Ziembra says:  “Russia’s real challenge is that it is not a diversified economy.  The vast majority of investments in Russia are in the energy sector, and it still dominates the revenue outlook, so that I see as a risk.“

The host of the interview responds:  “If Russia were to be given the boot, as it were, from BRIC, who would be the one chosen to tell Vladimir Putin?“
