Departures Podcast with Peter Greenberg

I was especially looking forward to recording this episode of Departures with my friend Peter Greenberg, who is an Emmy Award-winning journalist and travel editor for CBS News that you may recognize from shows such as The Early Show or his earlier tours of duty on NBC and Good Morning America.

As many of you know, the defining trait of my legal practice to date has been fairly constant and uninterrupted travel, visiting clients and partners across a diverse range of countries and regions, rarely staying in the same place more than a few weeks. This, of course, has come to a grinding halt with the onslaught of the pandemic.

That’s part of the reason I’ve been particularly keen to have someone like Peter on the podcast, who is an extremely well informed authority we should be listening to not only about what the pandemic means for the future of the travel industry (spoiler alert: it’s not good), but also the changes we should expect in our society and business culture when frequent travelers begin operating “not with an abundance of caution, but an abundance of fear.”
