Gazprom will sign a gas accord with Belarus this week, covering its purchase of 50% of the Beltransgaz pipeline network.  TNK-BP is planning to bid for blocks in Petrovietnam’s next licensing round.  Chevron takes full responsibility for a spill off the coast of Brazil, blaming an underestimation of pressure in a reservoir.  Zhaikmunai, the Kazakh oil and gas group, intends to seek a full London listing.  Despite the Turkish government’s push to privatise its energy sector, deals are stalling.  Oil company Saudi Aramco, which is focusing on diversifying into solar power, says that renewable energy projects are globally faltering.
