Iran is refining uranium ‘to power a medical research reactor‘, and welcomes further talks on its nuclear program if the agenda is clear before they begin, says the director of its Atomic Energy Organization.  President Dmitry Medvedev is in Turkmenistan for negotiations on gas that it ‘doesn’t need‘, leading this analyst to suggest that the latter’s best approach to get fair play is to underscore Russia’s future potential gas needs.  TNK-BP has received a 6.17 billion-ruble ($195 million) customs refund following an ‘amicable agreement‘ with the Customs Service.
